The First Shout!

Godavari Hostel means different things to all of us. For some it might be the place where you found the friends you never had and for some it might be the place where you discovered your passion. Ultimately, there is one thing which none of us can deny! It was/is one of the happiest times of our lives. Be it getting ragged on your first day here, or waiting to spot a freshie in your second year or wondering what the purpose of your life is in third year or even those supportive friends in the placement years, Godav has offered something to all of us that has changed us for the better. The extend to which it would have changed us is different, but rest assured, we can't deny the fact that our hostel has had an impact on our life.


Every year around a 50 students come in and around the same go out. The transition, even though it is painful for either group is swift! During this time a lot of things remain unsaid and many treasured memories tend to be forgotten. It is time to bring them back. Share with us your life in Godav and Insti, its challenges, mysteries, twists. We wish to know how it was :) The hostel spirit which filled your entire being while you were a student here that made you (wish you could) cring the neck of anyone who insulted your hostel during Schroeter matches remains. We are different. Yet we are the same! That which unites us remains strong.
